A Prayer A Day 7/26/2017 – Teach Them Early!

Today’s Scripture Verse(s) – Psalm 78:1-8

How can we as parents be so full of the word of God and our children not be?  Many of us who claim Christ Jesus to be Lord of our lives have children that do not know one verse of scripture.  Children are being born into this world with great wisdom.  Many 2 year olds can navigate an electronic device better than an adult.   Many children of 3 plus years can recite the words of a secular song total and complete but when it comes to them knowing any of the word of God, when it comes to them knowing who God is, when it comes to them knowing to reverence and respect the Lord God Almighty…Nothing!  This takes us to: Today’s Scripture Verse(s) – “Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.  I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:  Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.  We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.  For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed….. http://conta.cc/2eMVE0m (Please Share)

This Week’s Scripture Verse of Encouragement:

James 4:7-8

What does it mean to draw? It means to pull or drag. Latch yourself into the Lord and pull yourself in and as you are pulling in toward Him, He will be pulling in towards you. Isn’t that a great illustration?! All we need to really do to get closer and closer and closer to the Lord is to draw ourselves to Him and the great part of that is, we are not doing it all our own selves.  When we draw closer to Him, He takes notice immediately and draws closer to us.  How do we do this? You already know the answer to that question. We must pray, without ceasing, calling on His name with all our hearts. We must read His word asking Him to open our eyes to see the truth and to give us understanding in His word. We must spend time in worship and in praise, allowing our spirits to be lifted up to Him and bring Him glory and honor. Is it always easy to do this? No, it’s not. When you are just beginning some days it may be hard but you must push anyway. You may be going through some hard times but you must push anyway. Life may be stirring up some turmoil but you must push anyway.
~ A Prayer A Day
James 4:8

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16.  Rejoice evermore.

17.  Pray without ceasing.

18.  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Psalms 1:1-3
1.  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2.  But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3.  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psalm 29:2
Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Prayer:  Father God in the name of Jesus I give you praise!  I thank you Father for this another day.  I thank you Father for waking me up this morning and I bless you Father God for keeping watch over me last night as I slumbered and slept.  I thank you Father for my family, all of my love ones and all of my brothers and sisters in you.  I bless you Father God for keeping, shielding, protecting and providing for every single one of us.  I give you praise Father for your great goodness and your tender mercy toward us.  Father I ask today that you help me to draw nigh to you.  Draw me nearer Father God.  Draw me nearer to you Lord.  Give me a heart that is determined to draw closer and closer to you Lord.  Help me to focus my mind on you and your word.  Help me Holy Spirit to focus my heart on you and your word.  Help me Lord to be focused on the things that are pleasing in your sight and not on the desires of this flesh.  Help me Holy Spirit to truly walk in the Spirit.  Father I thank you!  Father I praise you!  Father I worship and honor you for all that you do and all that you have done and all that you continue to do on my behalf and on the behalf of all of my love ones, all of my brothers and sisters in you.  Keep our feet on the straight and narrow pathway Father.  Lord I thank you and bless you and glorify your great name. I thank you for drawing each and every one of us closer to you.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen

A Prayer A Day 7/21/2017 Scripture and Prayer

A Prayer A Day – 07/21/2017
Scripture and Prayer
Good God Morning Child of God! “There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them. Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew. Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.” Deuteronomy 33:26-29.   Father God in the name of Jesus I come before you today saying thank you, I come before you today with praise and thanksgiving in my heart to you Father. I thank you for waking me up this morning and I thank you for keeping watch over me as I slumbered and slept on last night. I thank you Father for your great goodness and your tender mercy to me and to my love ones and to all of my brothers and sisters in you. Father I give you all the glory and honor, you alone are worthy of all the praise. Father today I lift up my brothers and sisters before you. Father I lift them before you asking that you would keep each and every one of them. Father I ask you to protect their lives and the lives of all of their love ones. Father they need you to protect them, they need you to shield them, they need you Lord to cover them. Father, don’t allow the enemy to touch their lives, hide them under the shadow of your wings. Hide them Father God from the prying eyes of the enemy. Let them be of a mind to seek you out like never before. Let them be of a mind to call on your name both day and night. I thank you Father that your goodness and your mercy follow them all the days of their life. I thank you Father that they will dwell in your house forever. I bless you Father God that no weapon that is formed against any of them shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against them shall be condemned. I bless you Father God for blessing the work of their hands. Thank you Father that everything that they put their hand to shall be blessed. I thank you Father for blessing their going out and blessing their coming in. I bless you Father God for opening doors and windows of opportunity for every one of them. Your word says that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just, these, your children are the just and they prosper even as their souls prosper. I thank you Father God! I praise you Father God for every single one of my brothers and sisters. Father I pray for those who are sick in their body today. I ask Father that you would touch them with your healing touch. Your word says that with your stripes Lord we are healed. I thank you for healing in the bodies of my brothers and sisters that are sick. Healing is their bread for they are your children. You are the Lord their Healer. You heal their disease and you deliver them from all sickness. Father I give you praise! I praise you Father God for healing my brothers and sisters. I bless you Father God! I praise you Father God! I honor you Father God! I worship your great name. Father I thank you for continuing to lead and guide their footsteps today. You Lord, order their steps in your word. Lead them and guide them and keep ever one of them on the path that leads to life, life with you Lord Jesus. Father I give you all the glory. Thank you for being so good to us. Thank you for being so faithful to us.   I thank you Father God for new mercies today. You are so great and you are so good and I bless your holy name. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

A Prayer A Day InSights – 7/20/2017

Tuesday and Thursday
A Prayer A Day Insights
Do you want the Lord to bring you revelations? Do you want to walk so close to the Lord that you can smell the sweetness of Him? Do you want to hear the voice of the Lord with absolute clarity? Fast and Pray. Prayer and fasting breaks stuff off of you, it will humble you and bring you into meekness before the Father. We have become a society of gluttony. Not even the saints of God want to bring this flesh under subjection to the will of God, we use any excuse to not fast and pray. We have bought into the lie that it’s not healthy to, not eat. So we fill our bodies with stuff that is harmful or we worship our foods in a health conscience way, when God is whom we should worship. Fasting for you may not be about cutting out food, it may be turning off the tv or giving up something that you do that brings you pleasure that takes up your time, time that should be spent seeking after the Lord.  We must deny ourselves and truly begin to see the damage of fulfilling the lust of this flesh. God’s power is greater than the power of man! We must believe that HE IS. Need deliverance? Fast and pray.  ~ A Prayer A Day
Daniel 9:3 (Read Daniel Chapter 9)

3.  And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

4.  And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

Luke 2:25-26, 37-38 (Read Luke 2:25-38)

25.  And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
26.  And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

37.  And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

38.  And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

Acts 9:8-9 (Read Acts 9:1-20)
8.  And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9.  And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

Prayer:  Father God in the name of Jesus I give you praise!  I thank you Father for this another day that you have made for me.  I bless you Father for your goodness and your mercy on my life and the lives of all my love ones and the lives of all of my brothers and sisters in you.  Lord I give you praise for your grace on our lives today.  Thank you Father God for all things.  Father I ask today that you forgive me for the times that I have not heeded your instruction.  I ask today Father that you would bring back to my remembrance those things that you have spoken to my heart to do and I ask Father that you would give me the strength and determination to do them with diligence and excellence.  Father give me the strength to set my heart and set my face to do your will laying aside every weight and every sin that so easily besets me.  I want to know and feel your presence.  I want to hear your voice with clarity.  I want to be one that you reveal your wisdom and knowledge.  I want to be all that you have called and chosen me to be.  Father I thank you and praise you and honor your great and holy name.  I bless you Father God and give you all the glory.  Thank you Father for allowing me another day to be pleasing in your eye sight. In Jesus name I pray.  Amen

A Prayer A Day InSights – 7/18/2017

Tuesday and Thursday
A Prayer A Day Insights
So, you want to be where Jesus is? Walk in the light, God is in the light, there is no darkness in Him.  When we walk in the light the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ His son cleanses us from all sin. Child of God, strive to be in the presence of the Lord. This walk is a daily walk, it is not a pray today and then don’t for 3 or 4 days. This walk is a daily walk, it is not a read the word of God Sunday and only Sunday walk. We must pray daily, we must read God’s word daily, writing it on the tables of our heart.  We must commune with the Lord DAILY, every day. Would you skip days brushing your teeth? (I sincerely hope not). What I am saying is more important than your teeth.  What I am saying is about your life, your eternal life in preparation for your eternal home.  What I am saying is about being where Jesus is.  Walk in the light.  Stay in the light.
~ A Prayer A Day
1 John 1:5-7

5. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Prayer: Father God in the name of Jesus I give you praise! I thank you Father for another day, thank you for watching over me as I slumbered and slept and I thank you Father for reaching out this morning and touching me, allowing me to open my eyes to a brand new day.  Father as I walk through this life help me to seek you out more and more.  Let me be of a mind that wants and desires to know you more and more.  Your word says that if I draw nigh to you, you will draw nigh to me.  Show me Holy Spirit how to truly draw nigh to my Father God.  Show me Lord how to truly seek you out.  Show me Lord how to run after you with all my heart.  Help me Holy Spirit to be diligent in this, my daily Christ like walk.  Help me Holy Spirit to continuously walk in the light, taking up my cross daily following after you my Lord Jesus.  Father I thank you and praise you and I honor you today.  Father I love you and I worship you and give you all the glory.  Thank you for your mercy, thank you for your grace, thank you for your love and your kindness to me and all of my love ones and all of my brothers and sisters in you.  Lord I give you all the praise.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen

A Prayer A Day 7/17/2017 – Good God Morning Child Of God!

A Prayer A Day 7/17/2017 – Good God Morning Child Of God!

Today in my heart I am praying for us to make right decisions. The decisions that we make in this life cannot be based on how we feel or what someone else tells us or how they feel. We must go to the source of our lives. We must go to our maker, the one who, “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5. “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” Psalm 32:8. …. Psalm 25:9 “The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.” Psalm 31:3 “For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.” Psalm 48:14 “For this God is our God forever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.” Psalm 119:133 “Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” Father God in the name of Jesus I give you praise! Father I bless you for this day, another day that you have made for me, another ….. http://conta.cc/2uqoJVC (Please Share)

Only what we do for the kingdom of God will stand. We are to put our trust in the Lord and do good. Don’t trust in man.   Don’t trust in your own flesh. Don’t look to the right and don’t look to the left. Your sight must and should be only on the Lord, trust Him with all your heart.  He will provide what you need, when you need it. His children will never lack. When you trust in the Lord you shall dwell, in peace, joy and love and you will be fed, fed represents all that you need, it will be provided. The Lord is faithful.
~ A Prayer A Day
Psalm 37:3

Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Psalm 29:11
The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Proverbs 3:5-6

5. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Father God in the name of Jesus I thank you for another day.  Thank you Father for waking me up and I thank you Father for keeping watch over me and all of my love ones and all of my brothers and sisters in you as we slept on last night.  Father I give you all the glory, I give you all praise and honor.  Holy Spirit I ask today that you help me to walk in a way that is pleasing to my Father God.  I want all that I do to bring you glory Lord.  I want all that I do to be right in your eyesight.  Help me Lord! Lord I am determined to not trust in the arms of flesh, I am determined to put and keep all my trust in you.  I will not lean on the arms of flesh.  I will not lean on my own understanding.  I keep my eyes on you Lord.  I will not look to the right or to the left.  I will not look to man, woman or child.  Help me Holy Spirit! Help me to have the mind of Christ.  I will stand still and know that you are God, my hope, my help, my strength, my peace, my joy, everything that I need is in you.  You Father are my source of supply and I do not lack.  I look to and depend upon you and you alone.   Father I give you praise and glorify your great name.  Father I worship you and honor your great name.  You are so great, so faithful, so true.  You are worthy to be praised!  Thank you Lord for all things, In Jesus name I pray.  Amen
