Today’s Scripture(s) – Romans 3:23; 4:7-8
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; … Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.”
Every single one of us have sinned, every single one of us. “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Psalm 51:5. We all came into this world, sinners. After the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, every single soul that came into this world is a sinner. And we all are in need of a Savior. Every single one of us was and, some still are, headed for “hell” for eternity. Eternity – the dictionary defines ‘eternity’ as infinite time; duration without beginning or end; an endless or seemingly endless period of time, (ie: Forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.). This concept is not being grasped by many. This concept is not being taken serious by many. The spirit of deception has many fooled into thinking: “God is love and God will not send you to hell.” What is not being understood, what many are being blinded by is: Yes, God does love us and God does not send us to hell we CHOOSE to go to hell because we CHOOSE to not accept Jesus Christ and make Him Lord of our lives. The spirit of deception has many fooled into thinking that ‘every person that dies and was a ‘good’ person goes to heaven’. Every person that is ‘good’ and dies does not go to heaven if they did not accept Jesus Christ and make Him Lord of their lives if they did not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and make Him Lord of their lives, heaven is not their home, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:31. When we say that Jesus is Lord of our lives, many are just making a statement and not truly living the life. Lord, the dictionary defines ‘lord’ as a person who has authority, control, or power over others; a master, chief, or ruler. Is Jesus truly Lord of your life or is He only Lord when it’s convenient for you? We must check our hearts and check our minds and check how we are living and determine if in fact we are yielded to the Lord Jesus Christ and have truly made Him Lord of our lives. Are we obeying Him? When we hear the Holy Spirit speak to our hearts and say: ‘Don’t say that. Don’t do that. Don’t go there. Read your bible. Come away and pray.” When we hear the, Holy Spirit that still small voice speak into our hearts the things that we know is of God are we obedient? Are we allowing the Lord to truly lead our lives or are we taking control and only allowing Him to direct us when it’s convenient for us? There is only one way for our sin to be covered and that is by the blood of Jesus, that is by us coming before Him and humbling ourselves with a sincere heart asking Him to come into our lives and lead us and guide us, that is by us yielding our lives to Him and walking, running, following hard after Him obeying His word.

Today Lord, right this very minute I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I need a Savior. Your word says that there is no other name under heaven by which a man or woman can be saved and that name is Jesus. Today I repent of every sin that I have ever committed, I repent of every sin that I have done and I ask you Jesus to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I believe that you Lord Jesus shed your precious blood and died for my sins, I am willing to turn from sin and live a life that is holy and pleasing in your sight. I now invite you Christ Jesus to come into my heart and live in me and be my personal Savior. I ask that you would fill me with your precious Holy Spirit, lead and guide me in this life Lord Jesus. Thank you for saving my soul. Amen.
