Today‘s Scripture(s) – John 12:32; Revelation 5:11-14

“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” … “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne, and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.”

The song in my spirit this morning again when I was a little girl “Lift the Savior up, Lift the Savior up; Still He speaks from eternity: He said “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me.” Lift Jesus up, Lift Jesus up: Still He speaks from eternity: He said “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me.” I can see in my mind’s eye my mother beating her tambourine and singing with all her heart “Lift Jesus up! Lift Jesus up! Still He speaks from eternity: He said “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me.” Are we lifting the Savior up? Are we lifting up the name of Jesus? Does our life lift up Jesus? Can others see Jesus in our lives? Does our lives, exude the Lord Jesus Christ? Exude means to ooze out. Does our lives, ooze out Jesus? Can people look at us and say, ‘there’s something different about him or her’? The way that we live our lives should draw others to our Lord and Savior Jesus. Does it? Not what we say but what we do, how we act and how we carry ourselves. Are you a vessel of worship and praise to the King of kings and Lord of lords for all to see, for all to hear? Are you still holding on to the ‘I belong to me’ attitude? You and I are not our own 1 Corinthians 6:20 “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” The Father has job openings He is looking for He is seeking out real, true worshippers, are you fit for the position? John 4:23 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” You see you were made for it but have you prepared yourself to take your place? Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” Oh, if we would just catch this, if we would just walk in what we were made for, the riches and the wisdom and the understanding that would pour into our lives, the blessings and the favor that would be manifested in our lives, the power and the virtue that would exude from our lives! All to bring glory to God the Father! Everything in heaven and in earth, everything created was made for His pleasure and that includes you and I and He is worthy of our worship and He is worthy of our praise! “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelations 4:11. “Lift the Savior up! Lift the Savior up: Still He speaks from eternity: ….”

If You Have Not Made Jesus Lord Of Your Life Pray This Prayer:

Today Lord, right this very minute I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I need a Savior. Your word says that there is no other name under heaven by which a man or woman can be saved and that name is Jesus. Today I repent of every sin that I have ever committed, I repent of every sin that I have done and I ask you Jesus to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I believe that you Lord Jesus shed your precious blood and died for my sins, I am willing to turn from sin and live a life that is holy and pleasing in your sight. I now invite you Christ Jesus to come into my heart and live in me and be my personal Savior. I ask that you would fill me with your precious Holy Spirit, lead and guide me in this life Lord Jesus. Thank you for saving my soul. Amen.
