A Prayer A Day – 10/08/2015 What Kind Of Bread You Baking?

Today’s Scripture(s) – Galatians 5:9,16; 1 Corinthians 15:33

“A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.” … “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” … “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”

If you have ever baked bread you know that leaven, (yeast as we know it), mixed with your flour will make your dough rise. Let’s look at what leaven is in the dictionary because I want you to see what it means VERY clearly. Leaven is a substance that causes fermentation and expansion; it is an element that produces an altering or transforming influence. You only need to add a little bit to get the effect you want from the dough resulting into the bread you are making. What kind of bread are you baking? You see Dear Ones what happens when we take part in the things of this world, fleshly desires, flesh driven actions you only need to let a little bit seep into your life and if you don’t recognize it and root it out with returning to and walking in the Spirit you will find that your “whole lump” will be contaminated before you know it. Don’t allow yourself to fulfill any part of the lust of the flesh. Fulfilling a little bit will leaven the whole. Don’t think that it’s okay to talk about someone, gossip is not good. Someone is saying “We are human and we make mistakes, you’re being too harsh too ridged.” You know what I say to that? “NO, I’m not.” Here’s why, you may talk about that person a little bit today, but the next time you talk about them it will be a little bit more and a little bit more then somewhere along the communication your conversation about them turns into being judgmental. Matthew 7:2 says: “For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again”. Let your conversation be driven to lift up and praise and glorify the Father, I tell you, if you will do this you will find that your talking will not be so much, and you know what, if you aren’t talking so much then you can use the time that you spent running your mouth about “nothing”, you can use that time to pray and read God’s word and commune with the Father. You know when you start talking about the Lord some people will stay away from you, especially those who want to delve into evil communications. Your presence will be shunned in some circles. Don’t mourn that, seek the Lord more, don’t be like Lot’s wife and look back, longing to know what’s going on, when you do that you are opening yourself up to the leaven and trust me, the enemy will make sure you get some sprinkled on you. Walk in the Spirit, talk in the Spirit. Live, move and breathe in the Spirit.
Today’s Prayer:
Father I bless you this day. Lord I lift you up and glorify your wonderful marvelous name. You Lord are worthy of all blessing, all worship, all glory and all honor. Lord I give you praise! Lord I thank you for never leaving me. I thank you that you are always with me. You Lord are with me even until the end of the world you are with me. Father I will not walk after or fulfill the lust of my flesh. I will walk in the Spirit. I will live and move and breathe in the Spirit. I ask dear Lord that you will activate in me the desire even the more to walk even more closely in the Spirit with you. I run after you Lord, I run hard after you. I will seek you out and I will grab hold of you and I will hold on for dear life Lord. Lord you are my life, and I want more and more of you. Open my eyes to see you clearly and open my ears to hear you clearly. I incline my heart toward you Father God today. Mold me into a vessel that you can and will use for your glory. I present my body a living sacrifice to you Lord. I trust you Father God and I place all of everything that concerns me into your hands. I give to you Lord my mind, my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my hands, my feet. I am yours and you are mine blessed be the holy wonderful name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I love you today Lord and I lift you up and magnify your glorious name, blessing and honor, glory and power be unto you Father God, forever and ever, Amen. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
