A Prayer A Day 11/1/2016 – Persecuted For Living Godly?
Today’s Scripture(s) – 2 Timothy 3:12-15
Sometimes we think we are being afflicted for living Godly lives, but are we really? Do we truly have the stamina that the people of God of old had? I’m going to be very honest here because honesty is what it takes to live a right life before God the Father. What is honesty? Honesty is nothing more than being transparent. Honesty is not hiding things, nothing is hidden. Honesty is showing everything. I don’t know if I could withstand being thrown into an arena with lions and tigers knowing that I was going to be ripped apart because of what I believed. You see in the days of Paul the Apostle, who was Saul the persecutor of Christians. Christians, those who believed on Christ Jesus and His resurrection, they were hunted down and truly ‘persecuted’, beaten, thrown into prison, fed to lions, crucified and submitted to all manner of tortures. Many of us close our eyes to the persecutions that many of our fellow Christian brothers and sisters are suffering today, who are living in places where they cannot profess Christ Jesus openly, read …..(Click link to read entire prayer.
