A Prayer A Day 11/9/2016 – Love God. Trust God.
Today’s Scripture(s) – Mark 12:32-33
Just before the scribe made this declaration Our Lord Jesus said: v29-31 “… The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” Are we really loving the Lord our God? Is it only in word, do we only love Him when He answers our prayers the way that we want Him to? Are we loving Him most when our lives are going the way we want our lives to go? Are we in love with the Lord most when all is right with our world, the birds are singing the sun is shining our bank accounts are healthy and we have homes that would rival a king’s castle, (figuratively speaking)? Can we love Him through the rough times, can we love Him when we are weeping, can we still love Him completely and totally when the bill collectors are ringing our phones and knocking on our doors, can we still love Him totally and completely when our accounts are sitting on minus zero, can we still love and trust and believe God when it is pouring down torrential rain in our lives? Our Lord…..(Click link to read entire prayer. Please Share) http://conta.cc/2fRQ64Q
