A Prayer A Day 11/14/2016 – Instead Of Complaining, Pray.
Today’s Scripture(s) – 1 Timothy 2:1-4
Our place is not to bemoan, mumble, grumble or bewail, in other words, complain about the position we find ourselves to be in Child of God. Our place is to pray, pray without ceasing. Which bring us to: Today’s Scripture(s) – 1 Timothy 2:1-4 “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” We are Children of the Most High God and we have a standard to uphold and what is that standard? That standard is the standard of holiness. No matter what we may think in our own minds, which are carnal if we are not of the mind of Christ, if we are not renewing our minds in the word of God, if our minds are not stayed on the Lord, no matter what we may think it is the will of God that all men be saved, from the least to the greatest and we need to be praying that the will of God be done. No matter what we may think, the Lord has no respect of persons. He has no singled out favorites, we are all, His favorite and He wants what is best…..(Click link to read entire prayer. This Week’s Scripture Of Encouragement:
“I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”
