Today‘s Scripture(s) – Psalm 116:1-9
“I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.”
When the things in this life weigh down on your shoulders, what do YOU do? When things in your life are not going the way that you thought they would, what do YOU do? When darkness seems to be all around about you, what do YOU do? I am reminded here of a dream I had many years ago. I cannot remember if I had shared this with you before, but I feel a very strong urge to share it with you again: “I had come home from church I felt very tired so I laid down at the foot of my bed and drifted into a sleep, as I drifted I felt myself falling, falling, falling through a tunnel it seemed and it was dark, no light around whatsoever and as I was falling I looked up and I could see light at the top but the light was getting dimmer and dimmer and I became afraid and I knew that if I reached the bottom of where I was falling it was not going to be good and as I looked up and the light was starting to fade I screamed out ‘JESUS!’ and immediately it was as if the light reached down to where I was and snatched be out of the darkness.” My eyes popped open my heart was racing and I whispered ‘Lord Jesus’. This is what I know, I know that when we, Children of the Most High God, are in situations that are dark we must keep calling on the Lord and never give up! We must keep our faces turned to the Father and keep our eyes on the ‘LIGHT’ John 8:12 “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” As long as you allow Jesus to live in you, Child of God, you have the Light of the world within. John 9:5 “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Matthew 5:14,16 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. … Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Listen, I know that many of you are contending with things in your life that bring stress, worry and depression, but remember those three things that I just wrote, they are of the enemy and you do not have to accept them, shake yourself child of God, loose yourself from the bonds, the Lord has already set you free. Get in worship call on the name of the Lord he will reach down and rescue you and snatch you from the dark waters, he needs His light that is within you to shine before men so that they can see your good works and glorify God the Father.
Today‘s Prayer:
Father I love you. I love you Lord, I love you Lord, I love you Lord. I love you Lord for hearing my cry and I love you Lord for rescuing me and shielding me and protecting me. I love you Lord. I bless you Lord I honor you Lord. I glorify and bless your great and holy name. Thank you Father God for your goodness and your mercy that follows me all the days of my life, thank you Father God for being so great and so good to me I am so grateful to you Lord for everything. You have truly brought me out of darkness into your marvelous light and I praise you and lift you up and glorify and magnify your great name Lord. I will not sit in worry, I will not sit in stress, I will not sit in depression or anything that the enemy throws my way I will keep myself built up in my most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, I will worship you Lord and praise you Lord and magnify you Lord. I will sing songs of worship. I will sing songs of praise. I will get in your Word and renew and transform my mind in your Word. Father I thank you! Thank you Lord for all you have done for me. You are so great and you are so wonderful and I love you so much, bless your holy name. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

I believe that you Lord Jesus shed your precious blood and died for my sins, I am willing to turn from sin and live a life that is holy and pleasing in your sight. I now invite you Christ Jesus to come into my heart and live in me and be my personal Savior. I ask that you would fill me with your precious Holy Spirit, lead and guide me in this life Lord Jesus. Thank you for saving my soul. Amen.
