Today‘s Scripture(s) – Galatians 2:11-13
“But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.”
What is dissimulation? Dissimulation means to conceal (one’s real feelings) by pretense, and as I write this I hear the Spirit of the Lord say, ‘it is an act of shame’. You see in today‘s scripture, Peter was down with the Gentiles until certain ones of the ‘circumcision’ showed up, when they showed up Peter withdrew himself from the Gentiles and mingled with the ‘circumcision’ because of fear. But Paul didn’t go along with Peter’s pretense and He called him out on it. Paul made Peter accountable for his actions. 1 Peter 5:5 “Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.” We have sisters and brothers around us that the Lord has placed within our circle that we can be and are to be accountable to. I have a dear one in my life that I expect to ‘call me out’ on the carpet if I should be found in error and or in dissimulation. When that one that the Lord has placed in your life to pray for you, to walk by your side, to be the Jonathan to your David and vice versa and also to check you when you are wrong, when they, ‘withstand you to the face’. Don’t get angry, don’t continue to try to pretend and hide your error, stand up and be accountable, admit your wrong ask the Lord to forgive you and move on in Jesus name. Don’t become rebellious “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,” (see 1 Samuel 15:23). Do not allow fear or what others may think or say stop you from doing what it is that the Lord has called you to. Don’t use excuses to justify not answering the call of God on your life, just because it may be something that you 1. Don’t want to do. 2. You are afraid to do. 3. You don’t feel as though you have time to do. And by all means do not pretend to be something you are not because of fear of what man will say, think or feel. In the end we all answer to God the Father, think on that. Don’t dissimulate to emulate what you should regulate. Stand up for the KING, King Jesus!

Father I thank you for your mercy and your grace on my life. I thank you Father God for waking me up this morning and I thank you Father God for keeping watch over me as I slumbered and slept on last night. Lord I thank you for sending your angels to surround me and protect me and fight for me. I thank you Father for being so good and so great to me. Lord I love you and I worship you and I praise your great and holy name. You are so good and so great. I bless you Father God. I bless you, bless you bless you. I thank you for being my source of supply you supply all that I need. I thank you for being my healer you heal me from all sickness and disease. I thank you for being my comforter you comfort me when I am down or feeling low, thank you for lifting up my head Lord making me to know that you are always with me. I thank you Father God for everything that you have done and are doing for me. I bless you, bless you bless you Lord. I bless your great and holy and wonderful name. Lord I will not be a pretender. I will not pretend to be something I am not. I will not pretend to go along with the status quo. I will keep my eyes on you, I will keep my ears open to hearing your voice, I will keep my feet pointed in your direction and I will run after you Lord with all my might with all my strength with all my soul I will run after you. I will not look to the right and I will not look to the left I will keep my focus on you Lord and all that you have called me to. I do not seek to please man. I do not seek to gratify self. I do not seek the things of this world. I seek to know you Lord. I seek to know you and walk right and holy before you. I will not dissimulate to emulate what is around me but rather I will regulate by your Holy Spirit to reconcile souls back to you Father God. Lord I bless you, Lord I praise you, Lord I lift you up and I adore you. I give you all the glory. I give you all the honor. I worship you Father, I worship you Father, I worship your great and holy name. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
